On October 22, Cat and I went to the OB/GYN for our regular appointment. Cat was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia in the 31st week of her pregnancy. The only "cure" for this is delivery. So… On October 23, 2002 at 2:05 pm EDT our son, Zakari William ("Zakari" is the Basque version of "Zachary" and pronounced the same as the English version) was born via C-section. One minute later, our daughter Carolina Rosa was born. Our Premies and Catherine are doing well. The following photos were shot on October 25, when Zakari and Carolina were 3 days old. |
El 22 de Octubre, Catherine y yo fuímos al obstetra para nuestra cita semenal. Le diagnosticaron a Catherine con un caso serio de "preeclampsia" en la 31 semana de embarazo. La unica solucion era poner fin al embarazo. Asi que… nuestro hijo, Zakari William, nació a las 14:05 del 23 de Octubre de 2002 ("Zakari" es la version Euskera de "Zacharias" y se pronuncia como "Zachary" en Inglés). Un minuto mas tarde nacío nuestra hija, Carolina Rosa. Nuestros Prematuros y Catherine están bien. Los fotos siguientes fueron sacadas el 25 de Octubre cuando Zakari y Carolina tenian 3 dias. |
