Astronomy 104 Gradebook

Last Update: Monday, October 19 at 5:36 PM

What was updated?: This is the final gradebook. Grade changes will only be considered if you discover an error in a grade entry.

    • Failed Lab? We include a column in the gradebook to track if you failed the lab. The lab portion of the course is failed if you have more than 3 unexcused absenses or if you score less than 50% average on the Post-Lab quizes. Because this astronomy course is offered for Dragon Core with a lab, you must pass the lab component to pass the course.

To access your grades
, enter your modified Dragon ID (MDI). Your MDI consists of the last 4 digits of your Dragon ID plus the middle initial of your name (if available). Try first with the middle initial. If your score doesn't come up, try just the last 4 digits of your Dragon ID. If it still doesn't come up, check with you lecture instructor.

Enter your MDI:
  • WHAT IF I SEE SOMETHING I THINK IS IN ERROR? If you spot what you believe to be an error, please tell your lecturer immediately.

  • Labs Scoring:
    • If you had more than 3 unexcused absences from lab activities (including the field trip) or you scored less than 50% on the post-labs (after we drop your worst one), you have failed Astronomy 104.
    • If you didn't attend a lab or field trip according to our records, your lab grade will be listed as a "N".
    • If you were excused from the lab or field trip, your lab grade is listed as an "E".
