Field Trip Schedule and Signup
One of the lab activities for this semester is a night lab where students go out to the Paul J. Feder Observatory at the MSUM Regional Science Center at Buffalo River State Park and use the telescopes at that dark site. If you want to see what conditions will be like at the observatory you can look at the weather information page elsewhere on this website.
Students should be ready to spend about 90 minutes at the observatory (in addition to about 30 minutes in transit each way). If you can not obtain transportation to the observatory, please let us know ahead of time so that we can provide transportation.
If you are getting a ride in the school van, show up at the parking lot on the NW corner of 11th Street S. and 6th Avenue S. a half hour before the time listed below.
